DESCRIPTION

Automatic Outside Diameter Sizing for Rubber Bushings

The YSB63-L2M Automatic Bushing Swaging Machine is independently designed and manufactured by ANGEM for the post-processing of automotive rubber bushings and vibration-control components.

Its primary function is to reduce and calibrate the outside diameter of the bushing to the required finished dimension. The controlled swaging process helps improve dimensional consistency and prepares the bushing for subsequent assembly or inspection.

Integrated Automatic Production System

Controlled Swaging Process

During operation, the bushing is positioned in the swaging station and securely held before the outside diameter is reduced.

The final swaging configuration is customized according to the bushing material, initial diameter, target diameter, dimensional tolerance and product structure.

Pneumatic Flange Hold-Down Mechanism

For bushings with a flange, the machine uses a pneumatically controlled hold-down head to secure the flange during swaging.

This mechanism helps:

  • Maintain correct workpiece positioning
  • Prevent the flange from lifting or shifting
  • Reduce deformation during diameter reduction

Customized Debonding Inspection

The YSB63-L2M can be equipped with a customized debonding inspection module according to the customer’s quality-control requirements.

The inspection system checks for abnormal separation or insufficient bonding between the rubber and metal components after swaging. Detected nonconforming products can be identified for further handling, helping improve the final product acceptance rate.

The detection method and acceptance criteria are customized according to the customer’s product structure and inspection standards.

Safety Light Curtain

A safety light curtain is installed around the manual loading area. If an operator enters the protected area during loading, the machine stops or prevents the operating cycle from starting.

This provides additional protection during manual workpiece placement and removal.

PLC and Touchscreen Control

The machine is controlled by a programmable PLC system and operated through a visual touchscreen interface.

Operators can set, monitor and adjust process parameters according to different bushing specifications. The user-friendly interface simplifies daily operation, machine adjustment and production monitoring.
