Project Overview
Customized Primer and Topcoat Coating Line
Designed and delivered for Shandong Meichen, the PGB550-DY466X-B01 is an automated track-based coating line for consistent primer and topcoat application. It integrates robotic spraying, preheating, controlled drying and automatic pallet circulation into one production system.

Integrated Coating Process
Manual Loading
Operators place the workpieces onto the circulating pallet.
Preheating
Workpieces are preheated under controlled temperature before primer application.
Automatic Transfer
The pallet is automatically transferred into the primer spray booth.
Primer Spraying
A six-axis robot automatically applies primer with controlled coverage.
Primer Drying
The primer coating is dried at a controlled process temperature.
Topcoat Spraying
A six-axis robot with two spray guns automatically applies the topcoat.
Topcoat Drying
The topcoat is dried under controlled temperature before unloading.
Manual Unloading
Operators remove the finished workpieces as the pallets continue circulating.

Six-Axis Robotic Spraying
Six-axis robots automatically apply primer and topcoat with programmable spray paths and adjustable spray patterns.
Rotary Indexing Worktable
The rotary worktable moves pallets through loading, spraying, inspection and unloading positions, with rotation up to 360°.
Double-Layer Conveyor
The step-indexed conveyor automatically transfers pallets through loading, spraying and drying stations.
Primer & Topcoat Spray Systems
One primer gun and two topcoat guns support automatic application of different adhesive coating layers.
Automatic Pallet Transfer
Dedicated transfer units automatically move pallets between the conveyor and each spraying chamber.
PLC & Recipe Control
The PLC and touchscreen control spraying parameters, cycle time and temperature, with storage for up to 500 process recipes.
